From Monday 11 May 2026 until the end of September 2026 , trains will not call at Berrylands station, which will be closed for upgrades. The main part of the upgrade will see the station’s two platforms replaced, while new lighting, CCTV systems, Customer Information Screens and help points will be installed, to improve the station experience for our customers. Customers seeking to travel from Berrylands will need to travel from either New Malden or Surbiton instead. A rail replacement bus service will operate to transfer customers to and from these stations. Tapping in and out During the station closure, customers travelling towards London must travel from New Malden, and customers travelling towards Woking must travel from Surbiton. Customers must not tap in or out at Berrylands and only tap in or out at the stations where they start or finish their journeys. Rail replacement bus services Buses will run to Berrylands from Surbiton station forecourt and back from Berrylands to Surbiton from bus stop A on Surbiton Hill Park, a short walk from Berrylands station. Journeys are expected to take approximately 12 minutes.
